Richard Bruce Cheney is the child of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. When he turned 13 old, he relocated with his family to Casper in the western region of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father directed the district for soil conservation in Casper in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
