Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd was victorious in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
