Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy American actress. Famous for her critically acclaimed performances of charming, naive individuals. Adams was born and raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest of seven children. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. At the end of the 1990s, she began performing professionally and dancing with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year in Minnesota in a small local theatre she was selected to play a role in an unrealized documentary film about beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her successful screen debut where she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet moved into Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. The decade following her appearances in many popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
