Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut.
