Nancy O'Dell's career in broadcasting began as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. Later, she was a anchor of the morning news and as a crime reporter for WCBD-TV. Her articles from Charleston on how Charleston police dealt with DUI cases with care, caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division.
