Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a anchor of the morning news and as a crime reporter for WCBD-TV. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell has worked working in Charleston reporting and anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring to Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. Additionally, she is an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She has co-hosted a variety of pre-show arrivals for The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. She has also hosted the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe.
